Here I will describe 2 methods to find the IFSC code or MICR code of a bank

Method 1 : IFSC or MICR code by Cheque.

The only way to find the IFSC code from bank account number is through bank account statement and cheque.

• Your Cheques

Method 2 : IFSC or MICR of a bank from Bank Address.

Finding IFSC by account number is not possible, however these are the steps to find the ifsc code of a bank. Here is step by step guide for the same.

STEP 1 : Go to http://swiftifsccode.com/

You will see above image, i.e. option to select bank account

Step 2 : Select Bank Name

After that you will list of available states.

Step 3 : Select State

Step 4 : Select District and then branch

You will see the IFSC code details like below
